Each piece comes with a form-fitted wooden handle for comfortable grip during intense needling time on tires that may require a little extra work.

Needling tools have been proven to help tires achieve effective temperature more quickly and once at that temperature to help dissipate excess heat more effectively. Needling and tire perforation also helps to improve absorption of tire treatment/prep chemicals, overall grip on ice, snow, dirt, tarmac/asphalt and dusty surfaces. Needling with one of these tools is much more effective than siping in most applications.
